*As I align with being a “Light Worker,” I am offering Arch Angel Oracle Card readings. I’m doing a certification and need to log 12 more sessions –  all private and confidential, of course! I am done intuitive card readings for large groups, e.g. “Project Graduation” for the past 2 years with oodles of teens! It’s uplifting and amazing! These can be done in a quiet place, either at the clinic, your home or over the phone and take 20-30 minutes. I’m available for your events, too. Readings are by “love offering” through the 12 days of Christmas or until I log the rest of my required readings!

* Harmony & Health is offering Laser Lights on acu-points. Ask about this during your next appointment. This is a good option for people that are needle sensitive, or as another way to nourish you Qi or reduce inflammation.

 December Insights to Ponder

In these darkest days of the year, let us find our precious inner light, nourish it, polish it, and share it. During these bleak, dark days (you can tell I’m a summer person!), when there is the least amount of light outwardly, we may counter the darkness with tinsel, sparkles and lots of lights… and maybe some healthier gingerbread cookies and eggnog?! Here are some nourishing veggie dishes to enjoy during the holidays.

What a delight are these lights! You may notice how the word and derivatives of the word “light” show up in our language. “Enlightenment,” “shine a little light on me,” “I have seen the light!” Just as darkness is linked with death and that which is hidden, light is associated with transformation and finding that which we seek. The Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year in terms of sunlight available. Ancient cultures have long celebrated this dark day with light! Lights on pine trees, around houses and lining the streets – Oh Tannenbaum – What’s sitting on top of your Christmas Tree? A star, an angel, and enlightened St. Nicholas? May our hearts feel peace, glowing like embers in this yuletide season.

Lights and colors are known to have healing effects on our emotions and moods. Do you have a color that you wear when you need a pock me up? Even planets and days of the week have colors associated with them. I once met an acupuncturist that dressed in a different color for each day for the week, based on the planets.

In yoga and other Eastern esoteric practices, like Qi Gong, each of the 7 energy centers known as “Chakras” have colors from the rainbow spectrum (ROYGBIV)  associated with them. They ascend from the root or base of the spine to the crown or top of the head. There are ven specific pitches or sounds associated with each Chakra. Some lineages of yoga give a vowel sound, others have matras. What combination each person needs to unblock and open the flow or your Qi or Kundalini life force can differ, but there are basics which I have taught in Yoga and Qi Gong workshops.

If you are interested in these teachings, please let me know and i can set up a workshop or private teaching. These are ancient and wonderful experiences that open us to greater enlightenment and accelerate our ability to heal and transform negativity! These disciplines are in alignment with the healing work I offer. The combination of these breath, visualizations or Qi Gong movements, along with your acupuncture treatments, are assimilated knowledge from years of study and practice. I love to teach and share them, because it reminds me to keep up with them as well! I’m happy to offer a class on Saturdays, early morning or afternoon, as time allows. Let me know what you week!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season! Thank you for your patronage this year, I am grateful to know and serve everyone of you.

P.S. Pumpkin wants to remind you to sing Christmas carols, because it is good vibrational therapy. Purr purr. Also, make sure you spend plenty of time snuggled up with your furry friends!
