Joyous Spring to All!

           Joyous Spring to All!

Remember that this is The Year of the Ram/Goat in Chinese Astrology. If you are interested in seeing what your birth animal is, according to Chinese astrology, here is a link.

This lovely time of year is a favorite of many people. Did you know that the season you prefer tells your acupuncturist a lot about your health? Each season has qualities that are a part of your health concerns and constitution. When I was a teacher, I was aware that each student has a gift of some sense that is developed more than others. This enables them to encode and learn either, visually, tactility, aurally or a combination of them. As an acupuncturist, I want to help you reach your optimal health.

As a healer, I know that some of your elements are stronger than others, and their corresponding organ systems, times of day or year, and so forth. I know this through the5 Element Theory. There are so many pieces of your puzzle that I am able to help you put together.

The weather may affect your moods, strength, endurance, and allergies. Unfortunately the Austin area continues to provide respiratory challenges as allergies are worse during this beautiful time of year. Luckily, I have so suggestions for you:

Using a Neti Pot, gargling with salt water, mullin oil and garlic compresses for earaches garlic.
